रिजर्व बैंक से मिली जानकारी के मुताबिक 30 सितंबर 2023 तक आप 2000 रुपये के नोट को बदल सकते हैं. वित्त मंत्रालय ने लोकसभा में बताया कि बैंकों में 2000 रुपये के नोट बदलने की समयसीमा 30 सितंबर 2023 तक है और सरकार इसे आगे बढ़ाने के किसी प्रस्ताव पर विचार नहीं कर रही है.

मोदी सरकार ने साल 2016 में पहली बार नोटबंदी का फैसला लिया था, जिसमें 500 और 1000 रुपये के नोटों को बंद करने का फैसला लिया गया था, जिसके बाद आम जनता को काफी परेशानी का सामना करना पड़ा था. अब हाल ही में सरकार ने 2000 रुपये के नोट को चलन से बाहर करने का फैसला किया है, जिसके बाद सवाल उठ रहा है कि क्या सरकार एक बार फिर 1000 रुपये के नोट को वापस ला सकती है. इस पर भी वित्त मंत्रालय ने कहा है कि फिलहाल ऐसी किसी योजना पर विचार नहीं किया गया है.

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has announced the results for the UGC NET June 2023 exam today, July 26. Candidates who appeared for the exam can download their score card from the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

The UGC NET Phase I exam was conducted from June 13 to 17 and Phase II was held from June 19 to 22 for 6,39,069 candidates.

The UGC NET provisional answer keys were released on July 6 and objections were allowed till July 8. The final answer key is prepared taking the objections into consideration and used to calculate the final results. The final answer key is expected to be released by the Commission shortly.

Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSMSSB) will conclude the online application process for recruitment to the posts of Junior Accountant and Tehsil Revenue Accountant today, July 26. Eligible candidates must complete and submit their application forms on the official website recruitment.rajasthan.gov.in.

The Junior Accountant and Tehsil Revenue Accountant recruitment examination is tentatively scheduled to be held on September 17, 2023.

The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 5388 vacancies out of which 5190 vacancies are for the post of Junior Accountant and 198 vacancies are for the Tehsil Revenue Accountant.

The names of 5.18 crore workers were deleted from the rolls of the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme in 2022-’23, Rural Development Minister Giriraj Singh told the Lok Sabha on Tuesday.

The number of names deleted is 247% higher than that in 2021-’22.

The scheme guarantees 100 days of work for every rural household in the country and deletion of a worker from the rolls makes the person ineligible to work.

In January, the Narendra Modi government had made it mandatory to link MGNREGA job cards with Aadhaar cards. The deadline for implementation of Aadhaar-based payments has been extended for the fourth time to August 31 despite protests by workers and activists.

State governments trying to meet the deadline are resorting to removing names of workers whose records have discrepancies in the two databases, leading to a spike in such deletions, The Hindu reported.

In a question to the rural development ministry, Congress MPs Gaurav Gogoi and VK Sreekandan had asked if there had been a hike of 244.3% in deletions in the previous financial year as compared to 2021-’22.

In response, Singh said that MGNREGA job cards of 1,49,51,247 workers had been deleted in 2021-’22 while in 2022-’23 the figure was 5,18,91,168.

NEET काउंसलिंग 2023 तिथियां: चिकित्सा शिक्षा विभाग (DME, मध्य प्रदेश) मध्य प्रदेश ने MP NEET UG काउंसलिंग कार्यक्रम की घोषणा कर दी है। शेड्यूल के मुताबिक, एमपी नीट यूजी काउंसलिंग के पहले राउंड के लिए रजिस्ट्रेशन प्रक्रिया 26 जुलाई से शुरू होगी। उम्मीदवार इसके लिए आधिकारिक वेबसाइट dme.mponline.gov.in के जरिए आवेदन कर सकते हैं।

मध्य प्रदेश के सरकारी और निजी मेडिकल कॉलेजों में एमबीबीएस की 4368 सीटें हैं। एमपी नीट यूजी काउंसलिंग में भाग लेने वाले छात्र एमबीबीएस और बीडीएस पाठ्यक्रमों के लिए मध्य प्रदेश के 14 मेडिकल कॉलेजों में प्रवेश ले सकते हैं। रजिस्ट्रेशन की आखिरी तारीख 31 जुलाई है.

EPFO अपडेट: कर्मचारी भविष्य निधि संगठन से मई महीने में 16.30 लाख लोग जुड़े. हालांकि ये संख्या अप्रैल महीने से कम है. अप्रैल के दौरान करीब 17.20 लाख नए सदस्य जुड़े.

कर्मचारी भविष्य निधि संगठन (ईपीएफओ) ने इस साल मई में शुद्ध रूप से 16.30 लाख ग्राहक जोड़े। गुरुवार को जारी आधिकारिक आंकड़ों में यह जानकारी दी गई. श्रम मंत्रालय ने एक बयान में कहा कि डेटा से पता चलता है कि मई में 3,673 प्रतिष्ठानों ने अपने कर्मचारियों को ईपीएफओ के सामाजिक सुरक्षा दायरे में शामिल किया है। श्रम और रोजगार मंत्रालय के एक बयान में कहा गया है कि आंकड़ों के अनुसार, मई, 2023 के दौरान लगभग 8.83 लाख नए सदस्यों का नामांकन हुआ, जो पिछले छह महीनों के दौरान सबसे अधिक है।

18-25 वर्ष के लोगों की हिस्सेदारी 56.42% नए शेयरधारकों में, 18-25 वर्ष आयु वर्ग के कर्मचारियों में 18-25 वर्ष के युवाओं की हिस्सेदारी 56.42 प्रतिशत है। यह युवाओं के संगठित रोजगार में वृद्धि को दर्शाता है। हालांकि मई में करीब 11.41 लाख सब्सक्राइबर्स ने EPFO से निकासी की, लेकिन वे दोबारा भी इससे जुड़ गए. इससे उनके एक नौकरी छोड़कर दूसरी नौकरी करने के संकेत मिलते हैं।

पेरोल डेटा के विश्लेषण से पता चलता है कि इस महीने पहली बार ईपीएफओ का हिस्सा बनने वाले 8.83 लाख नए कर्मचारियों में से लगभग 2.21 लाख महिलाएं थीं। मई में शुद्ध रूप से 3.15 लाख महिलाएं EPFO का हिस्सा बनीं. राज्य स्तर पर, महाराष्ट्र, तमिलनाडु, कर्नाटक, हरियाणा और गुजरात शुद्ध शेयरधारकों के मामले में आगे हैं। महीने में शुद्ध शेयरधारकों में इन पांच राज्यों की हिस्सेदारी 57.85 प्रतिशत रही।

Max Verstappen cruised to another majestic victory on Sunday, reeling off a record 12th straight win for Red Bull as he dominated the Hungarian Grand Prix with a textbook drive from lights to flag.

The defending double world champion grabbed the lead from pole-sitter Lewis Hamilton at the start and remained in control for his seventh successive victory, his ninth in 11 races this year and the 44th of his career.

More significantly, it was Red Bull’s 12th consecutive win, breaking a 35-year-old record they had shared with McLaren, who won 11 straight races in 1988 with Alain Prost and Ayrton Senna as their driver pair.

Verstappen came home a massive 33.7 seconds ahead of McLaren’s Lando Norris with his Red Bull team-mate Sergio Perez in third.

“For the team 12 wins in a row is incredible. Hopefully we can keep this momentum going for a long time,” said Verstappen.

Verstappen’s seventh straight win stretched the double world champion’s lead over Perez to 110 points in the championship.

1. The United States on Sunday said it was deeply concerned over the sexual assault of Kuki women in Kangpokpi district of Manipur, Reuters reported. A US State Department spokesperson said that the incident was “brutal” and “terrible”. Washington conveyed its sympathies to the survivors, the spokesperson added, according to Reuters. On July 19, a video showing two Kuki women being paraded naked by a mob in the Kangpokpi was widely shared on social media. Three women, including the two who were seen in the video, were sexually assaulted on May 4. One of them was “brutally gang-raped”, according to a police complaint.
2. The Manipur Police have identified 12 to 14 persons seen in the video of the Kangpokpi sexual assault, The Hindu reported. Six persons, including a juvenile, have been arrested so far in the case. The police filed a first information report on May 18 but made the first arrest only last week after the video surfaced. According to The Hindu, the police have detained over 13,000 persons in preventive custody over the past two weeks to rein in the ethnic violence between Kuki and Meitei communities that has been raging since early May. More than 150 persons have been killed and over 60,000 displaced in the violence.

Australia have retained the Ashes after the fourth Test against England ended in a rain-affected draw, with bad weather at Old Trafford washing out Sunday’s final day.

The result ensured Australia, as the holders, kept the Ashes at 2-1 up with one match left in the series – regardless of the result of next week’s fifth Test at The Oval.

Heavy overnight rain left the outfield sodden and meant play was unable to start as scheduled at 11:00 am (1000 GMT) in Manchester.

No sooner had it been announced that play would resume at 1200 GMT, provided there was no further rain, the ground was subjected to a fresh downpour lasting several hours.

The match was officially abandoned by the umpires as a draw at 1624 GMT.

Despite this draw, Australia will still have to avoid defeat at The Oval if they are to secure their first Ashes series win in England since 2001.

“The group should be pretty proud. Our preference is to come over here and win the Ashes but it’s nice to retain it, albeit not in the best of circumstances,” Australia captain Pat Cummins said.

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has commenced the online application process for Sub-Inspector Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (SSC Delhi Police, CAPF SI) Examination, 2023. Eligible candidates can apply to the vacancies on the official website ssc.nic.in till August 15 (upto 11.00 PM).

The recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 1876 vacancies out of which 109 vacancies are for Male candidates in Delhi Police, 53 vacancies for Female SI candidates in Delhi Police and the remaining 1714 vacancies are for SI candidates in the Central Armed Police Forces. The recruitment exam is tentatively scheduled to be held in October, 2023.

Eligibility Criteria

The history of independent India has been peppered with major and violent conflicts fought on sectarian lines. These have broadly been of two types. The first are armed insurgencies demanding secession or independence, as took place in the Naga and Mizo hills in the 1950 and 1960s, and in Punjab and the Kashmir Valley in the 1980s and 1990s. The second is majoritarian violence within a particular Indian state or Union Territory, as for instance the pogrom against Sikhs in Delhi in 1984 and against Muslims in Gujarat in 2002, both led by Hindu mobs, and the purging of Pandits in Kashmir in 1989-’90, led by Islamist jihadists.

In the past, Manipur had witnessed the first form of conflict, with armed Meitei insurgents demanding a nation of their own, and armed Nagas seeking the formation of a nation with the contiguous districts of Nagaland. The present conflict, however, is internal to the state; it is between two of its ethnic groups, the Meiteis and the Kukis. Neither side is demanding independence from India.
