बम ला दर्रा
यहां का बम ला दर्रा भी अपनी प्राकृतिक खूबसूरती के कारण प्रसिद्ध है। ये अरुणाचल प्रदेश और तिब्बत के लहोखा विभाग के बीच हिमालय पर्वत का एक पहाड़ी दर्रा है। यह तवांग शहर से 37 किलोमीटर दूर समुद्रतल से 15200 फिट की ऊंचाई पर बसे इस स्थान पर घूमने में भी आपको बहुत ही मजा आ जाएगा।

सेला दर्रा
अरुणाचल प्रदेश का सेला दर्रा भी पर्यटकों के बीच प्रसिद्ध है, जो पश्चिमी कामेंग जिले और तवांग को जोडऩे वाला एकमात्र मार्ग है। बताया जाता है कि यहा पर एक समय 101 पवित्र झीलें थी।

एक बर्तन में आप एक बड़ा चम्मच बेकिंग सोडा पाउडर डालकर इसमें एक चम्मच नींबू का रस और थोड़ा सा नमक मिला लें। अब आप इस मिश्रण से टूथ ब्रश की मदद से दांतों की मसाज कर लें। इसके कुछ देर बाद आप ठंडे पानी से कुल्ला करें। बेकिंग सोडा और नींबू दांतों को साफ करने में बहुत ही उपयोगी है। इसका उपयोग करने से आपको फायदा जरूर ही मिलेगा।

नारियल तेल का इस प्रकार करें उपयोग
दांतों का पीलापन दूर करने के लिए आप नारियल तेल से मसाज कर सकते हैं। नारियल तेल को कुछ देर दांतों पर लगाकर छोड़ दें। इसके बाद अपने दांतों को नॉर्मल पानी से धो लें। नारियल तेल में मिलने वाला लॉरिक एसिड दांतों में प्लाक पैदा करने वाले बैक्टीरिया को खत्म करने में उपयोगी है। इससे दांतों की चमक बढ़ जाती है। आप आज से ही ये उपाय कर लें।

इंटरनेट डेस्क। इजरायल और हमास के बीच जारी जंग अभी समाप्त होने का नाम नहीं ले रही है। दोनों के बीच छिड़ी जंग को छह महीने हो गए हैं। इजरायल ने हमास को नष्ट करने की ठान ली है। इस बीच इजरायली सुरक्षाबलों ने गाजा पट्टी पर एयरस्ट्राइक की थी। इसमें हमास नेता इस्माइल हानिया के तीन बेटों की मौत होने की जानकारी मिली है।

इजरायली सेना की ओर से इस संबंध में दावा किया गया है। सेना की ओर से दावा किया गया कि हमास नेता इस्माइल हानिया के तीन बेटे आमिर, हाजेम और मोहम्मद गाजा में आतंकी गतिविधियों को अंजाम देने जा रहा थे कि वे हवाई हमलों की चपेट में आ गए।

बेटों की मौत को लेकर इस्माइल हानिया ने कही ये बात
इस्माइल हानिया ने अल जजीरा को दिए एक साक्षात्कार में इस बात की जानकारी दी है। उन्होंने इसमें बताया कि जेरूसलम और अल-अक्सा मस्जिद को आजाद कराने की जंग में उनके चार बेटों में से तीन बेटे शहीद हो गए। इस्माइल हानिया ने इजराइल के लिए यहां तक बोल दिया कि अगर किसी को लगता है कि मेरे बेटों को निशाना बनाकर वे हमास को उसका रुख बदलने पर मजबूर कर देंगे तो ये भ्रम है।

कौन है इस्माइल हानिया?
इस्माइल हानिया का जन्म 29 जनवरी 1962 को गाजा पट्टी के शरणार्थी शिविर में हुआ था। वह पढ़ाई के दौरान ही हमास संगठन से जुड़ा था। साल 2006 में इस्माइल हानिया फिलिस्तीन का प्रधानमंत्री भी बन चुका है। कई साल पहले वो गाजा पट्टी से वह भाग गया था। अभी वह कतर में ही नर्वासन मेंं रह रहा है।

हालांकि एडवांस बुकिंग के मामले में बड़े मियां छोटे मियां ने मैदान को काफी पीछे छोड़ दिया है। अक्षय कुमार और टाइगर श्रॉफ की ये फिल्म पांच भाषाओं में रिलीज हुई है। फिल्म ने एडवांस बुकिंग के जरिए रिलीज से पहले 3.22 करोड़ रुपए की कमाई कर ली है। इसके सामने अजय देवगन की फिल्म मैदान एक करोड़ का आंकड़ा भी पार नहीं कर सकी है।

खबरों के अनुसार, इस फिल्म ने एडवांस बुकिंग के जरिए रिलीज से पहले 75 लाख रुपए की कमाई की है। ओपनिंग डे कलेक्शनट्रेड एनालिस्ट तरण आदर्श ;बड़े मियां छोटे मियां से बड़ी उम्मीद है। उनके अनुसार, ये फिल्म ओपनिंग डे पर करीब 25 करोड़ रुपए की कर सकती है।

खेल डेस्क। भले ही राजस्थान रॉयल्स को गुजरात टाइटंस के खिलाफ आईपीएल 2024 के 24वें मुकाबले में हार का समाना करना पड़ा हो, लेकिन मैच में टीम के कप्तान संजू सैमसन ने अपने नाम एक बड़ी उपलब्धि दर्ज करवा ली है। जयपुर के सवाई मानसिंह स्टेडियम में बुधवार को संजू सैमसन ने राजस्थान रॉयल्स के लिए बतौर कप्तान 50वां मैच खेला। वह ये उपलब्धि हासिल करने वाले दूसरे क्रिकेटर बने हैं। इस मैच के लिए टॉस के लिए मैदान पर उतरते ही संजू सैमसन ने टीम के पूर्व कप्तान शेन वार्न के क्लब में एंट्री मार ली है।

शेन वार्न ने राजस्थान रॉयल्स की 55 मैचों में कप्तानी
राजस्थान रॉयल्स की ओर से शेन वार्न ने 55 मैचों में टीम की कप्तानी की। शेन वार्न 2008 मेगा नीलामी में राजस्थान रॉयल्स से जुड़े और 2011 तक टीम की कमान संभाली। उनकी कप्तानी में राजस्थान रॉयल्स आईपीएल का पहला खिताब जीतने में सफल रही थी। शेन वार्न ने अपनी कप्तानी में राजस्थान रॉयल्स को 55 मैच में से 30 मैचों में जीत दिलाई थी।

साल 2021 में कप्तान बने थे संजू सैमसन

Lok Sabha elections: होम वोटिंग के पांचवें दिन जयपुर में इतने लोगों ने किया मतदान

जयपुर। राजस्थान में 19 अप्रैल को होने वाले पहले चरण के मतदान से पहले होम वोटिंग का दौर चालू है। होम वोटिंग के पांचवें दिन मंगलवार को जयपुर लोकसभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्र में फिर से बड़ी संख्या में लोगों ने मतदान किया है। मंगलवार को जयपुर शहर में 95.56 फीसदी एवं जयपुर ग्रामीण लोकसभा सीट में 95.63 फीसदी 85 वर्ष से अधिक आयुवर्ग एवं 40 फीसदी से अधिक दिव्यांग मतदाताओं ने अपने मताधिकार का प्रयोग किया।

उप जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी नीलिमा तक्षक ने इस बात की जानकारी दी है। उन्होंने बताया कि होम वोटिंग के पांचवें दिन जयपुर लोकसभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्र में समाहित मालवीय नगर विधानसभा क्षेत्र में कुल 135 में से 129 मतदाताओं ने अपने मताधिकार का प्रयोग किया। 6 मतदाता अनुपस्थित होने के कारण मतदान नहीं कर पाए।

उप जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी नीलिमा तक्षक ने बताया कि जयपुर ग्रामीण लोकसभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्र में पांचवें दिन होम वोटिंग के लिए पंजीकृत कुल 458 में से 438 मतदाताओं ने अपने मताधिकार का प्रयोग किया। दो मतदाता निधन होने के कारण एवं 18 मतदाता अनुपस्थित होने के कारण मतदान नहीं कर पाए।

राजस्थान के पूर्व उप मुख्यमंत्री सचिन पायलट ने इस दौरान लोगों से लोकतंत्र बचाने के लिए कांग्रेस का समर्थन करने की अपील की। पूर्व केन्द्रय मंत्री सचिन पायलट ने पायलट ने दौसा में कांग्रेस प्रत्याशी मुरारीलाल मीणा और भरतपुर में कांग्रेस प्रत्याशी संजना जाटव के समर्थन में आयोजित जनसभाओं में हिस्सा लेेकर ये बड़ी बात कही है।

विकास के बारे में बात करने में विफल रहने पर धार्मिक मुद्दे उठाती है भाजपा
सचिन पायलट ने जनसभा में भारतीय जनता पार्टी के लिए यहां तक बोल दिया कि बीजेपी भाजपा जब विकास के बारे में बात करने में विफल रहती है तो वह धार्मिक मुद्दे उठाती है। इस दौरान उन्होंने कांग्रेस के पूर्व राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष राहुल गांधी की भारत जोड़ो न्याय यात्रा का भी जिक्र किया है। वहीं उन्होंने जनसभा में बोल दिया कि भारतीय जनता पार्टी ने संसद में जनता की आवाज दबाने के लिए विपक्ष के 147 सांसदों को निलंबित कर दिया। उन्होंने महंगाई को लेकर भी केन्द्र की मोदी सरकार पर निशाना साधा है। उन्होंने कहा कि मोदी सरकार के राज में पेट्रोल की कीमत 100 रुपए के पार पहुंच गई है।

What, at one stage, seemed would be a straight-forward contest in the Indian Premier League on Tuesday turned out to end in a nail-biting finish. The Sunrisers Hyderabad, put into bat first against the Punjab Kings, struggled to get to 66/4 in 10 overs.

जयपुर। राजस्थान में 25 लोकसभा सीटों के लिए दो चरणों में मतदान होगा। प्रदेश में लोग 19 और 26 अप्रैल को मतदान कर सकेंगे। चुनाव आयोग की ओर से मतदान को लेकर जमकर तैयारियां की जा रही हैं।

अब आगामी लोकसभा चुनाव में शत—प्रतिशत मतदान सुनिश्चित करने के लिए जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी ने एक बड़ा कदम उठाया है। जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी ने मतदान दिवस को सार्वजनिक अवकाश घोषित किया है। उप जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी नीलिमा तक्षक ने इस बात की जानकारी दी है। उन्होंने बताया कि सामान्य प्रशासन विभाग द्वारा 22 मार्च 2024 को जारी आदेश की अनुपालना में मतदान दिवस पर सार्वजनिक अवकाश रहेगा।

जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी ने बताया कि कार्मिक को मतदान हेतु आवेदन करने पर मतदान तिथि को सवैतनिक अवकाश स्वीकृत करने हेतु विभिन्न विभागों, उपक्रमों, बोर्ड एवं निगमों आदि के विभागाध्यक्ष भी प्राधिकृत होंगे।

निजी प्रतिष्ठानों के कर्मचारियों को भी मिलेगा अवकाश
श्रम विभाग द्वारा 19 मार्च 2024 को जारी आदेश के तहत जिले के समस्त विधानसभा क्षेत्र स्थित निजी या सार्वजनिक प्रतिष्ठानों, दुकान, औद्योगिक उपक्रम या कारोबार, व्यवसाय में कार्यरत कामगारों को मतदान दिवस का सवैतनिक अवकाश देय होगा।

जयपुर सीटों के इन क्षेत्रों में 19 अप्रैल को रहेगा अवकाश
उप जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी नीलिमा तक्षक ने इस संबंध में जानकारी दी कि 19 अप्रैल 2024 जयपुर लोकसभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्र में समाहित किशनपोल, आदर्श नगर, मालवीय नगर, सांगानेर, हवामहल, विद्याधर नगर, सिविल लाइन, बगरू विधानसभा क्षेत्रों में सामूहिक अवकाश रहेगा। वहीं जयपुर ग्रामीण लोकसभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्र में समाहित कोटपूतली, विराटनगर, शाहपुरा, फुलेरा, झोटवाड़ा, आमेर जमवारामगढ़ विधानसभा क्षेत्र में सार्वजनिक अवकाश का ऐलान किया गया है।

APSC VO/BVO registration window closes today at apsc.nic.in; apply now

The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) will conclude the online application process for recruitment to the posts of Veterinary Officer/ Block Veterinary Officer, Class-B, Class-I (Jr. Grade) under Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Department, Assam, Guwahati today, April 10. Eligible candidates can apply for the exams on the official website apsc.nic.in. The last date to pay the fee is April 12, 2024.

The recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 37 VO/ BVO posts.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: 21 years to 38 years as on January 1, 2024.

Educational Qualification: A candidate must have at least a Degree in Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science from any recognized University/ Institution.

Application Fee

The application fee inclusive of all charges to be paid by General category candidates is Rs 297.20; for SC/ST/OBC/MOBC category candidates is Rs 197.20. However, BPL and PwBD candidates will only be charged a processing fee of Rs 47.20.

इंटरनेट डेस्क। राजस्थान में एक बार फिर से मौसम में बदलाव देखने को मिल रहा है। राजधानी जयपुर में आज सुबह से ही बादल छाए हुए हैं। मौसम विभाग के अनुसार, शुक्रवार और शनिवार को एक नया मजबूत पश्चिमी विकसित वायुमंडल में सक्रिय होने की संभावना है। इससे राजस्थान में एक फिर से आंधी और बारिश के दौर में तेजी आने की संभावना है।

इन संभागों में पड़ सकता है सर्वाधिक प्रभाव
मौसम विभाग के अनुसार, 13-14 अप्रैल को विक्षोभ का सबसे ज्यादा प्रभाव प्रदेश के जोधपुर, बीकानेर, अजमेर, कोटा, जयपुर, और भरतपुर संभाग में देखने को मिलने की उम्मीद है। इस संभागों में तेज अंधड़ की संभावना है। इन क्षेत्रों में 40 से 60 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटा की गति से हवा चल सकती है। पूर्वी हवाओं के प्रभावी होने से पूर्वी और दक्षिण-पूर्वी राजस्थान में कहीं-कहीं मेघ गर्जन और बारिश की मौमस विभाग की ओर से संभावना जताई गई है। इसी कारण प्रदेश के कुछ क्षेत्रों में गुरुवार और शुक्रवार को आंधी-बारिश की पडऩे की संभावना जताई जा रही हैं।

तापमान में आ सकती है गिरावट
राज्य में एक मजबूत पश्चिमी विक्षोभ के सक्रिय होने से आंधी बारिश की गतिविधियों मेें इजाफा होने ने अधिकतम तापमान में गिरावट देखने को मिल सकती है। प्रदेश में इसके प्रभाव के कारण 2-3 डिग्री सेल्सियस गिरावट देखने को मिल सकती है।
मौसम में आ रहे इस प्रकार के बदलाव के कारण लोगों को अभी गर्मी से राहत मिलती रहेगी। अभी लोगों को भीषण गर्मी का सामना नहीं करना पड़ रहा है।

‘Maidaan’ review: A halfway-there portrait of brilliant football coach Syed Abdul Rahim

Amit Ravindernath Sharma’s Maidaan runs over fertile ground – the contributions of Syed Abdul Rahim to the glory years of Indian football. The national team’s coach took the sport to heights in the 1950s and 1960s that have never been scaled since. Rahim coached the Indian team to a hard-won football gold medal in the Asian Games in 1962 despite suffering from lung cancer. He died in 1963.

Maidaan spans Rahim’s career between 1952 and 1962. The story by Saiwyn Quadras, Akash Chawla and Arunava Joy Sengupta and Quadras’s screenplay initially move at such a pace that the listed 181-minute duration appears to be a mistake.

Barely half an hour into the biopic, Rahim (Ajay Devgn) has assembled a crack team, silenced naysayers in the Football Federation of India, and turned India into a serious global competitor. But Maidaan is a long way from its terrific climax.

The film has every intention of dangling viewers keen on understanding the reasons behind Rahim’s repute. Maidaan pays heartfelt homage to Rahim, but has difficulty locating his brilliance within an overarching theme or an identifiable core.

The predecessors to Maidaan organised their conventional beats around easily digestible themes. Chak De! India (2007) was the fictitious story of a disgraced Muslim hockey coach redeeming himself by turning a rag-tag women’s team into match-winners….

JKSSB Junior Assistant typing test admit cards released; here’s the details

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released the admit cards for the upcoming Junior Assistant typing test 2024 today, April 9. Eligible candidates can check and download their admit cards on the official website jkssb.nic.in.

According to the notification, the JKSSB JA typing test will be conducted on April 15, 2024.

The JKSSB JA exam 2023 was conducted on September 21, 2023. The recruitment drive aims to fill up a total of 34 posts of Junior Assistant and 65 posts of Junior Assistant-cum-Computer Operator. The selection list for the typing test was released on December 7, 2023.

Chess, Candidates 2024: Praggnanandhaa and Vaishali earn first wins of the tournament in Round 3

Indian chess Grandmasters Praggnanandhaa Rameshbabu and his elder sister Vaishali were the only two players to score wins in the third round of the open and women’s section, respectively, of the 2024 Candidates tournament in Toronto, Canada on Saturday.

It was also their first wins in the competition.

Praggnanandhaa, playing with black pieces, beat compatriot Vidit Gujrathi, who had stunned world No 3 Hikaru Nakamura a day earlier in Round 2.

The win for 18-year-old Praggnanandhaa takes him to an overall score of 1.5 after he drew Alireza Firouzja in the opening round, followed by a loss to Gukesh Dommaraju on Friday.

Like her younger brother, 22-year-old Vaishali also bounced back from a loss in the second round to beat Bulgarian player Nurgyul Salimova. Vaishali had started her campaign with a draw against compatriot Koneru Humpy, followed by a loss to China’s Tan Zhongyi.

As for the other Indians competing in the tournament, that serves as a gateway to the World Championships match in their respective categories, Humpy drew against Tan while using white pieces.

Gujarat HC pulls up state for FIR against sanitation worker for ‘wilfully’ entering septic tank

The Gujarat High Court on Friday reprimanded the state government for filing a first information report against a contractual sanitation worker for “wilfully” entering a septic tank despite a prohibition on manual scavenging, Live Law reported on Saturday.

A division bench of Chief Justice Sunita Agarwal and Justice Aniruddha Mayee was hearing a public interest litigation by Ahmedabad-based nongovernmental organisation Manav Garima that is seeking strict implementation of the Prohibition of Employment as Manual Scavengers and their Rehabilitation Act, 2013.

Manual scavenging – or the practice of removing human excreta by hand from sewer lines or septic tanks – is banned under the law, but the practice remains prevalent in several parts of the country.

A sanitation worker had died and another suffered serious injuries while cleaning a septic tank at the Central Salt and Marine Chemicals Research Institute’s Bhavnagar campus in November. The state had booked the surviving worker for illegally and “wilfully” entering the septic tank.

The state government had conducted an inquiry into the incident on the court’s direction and submitted a report stating the actions taken and actions proposed to be taken.

In the deeply religious Hindu household in which I grew up in Kolkata, there were at least 132 photographs of various gods adorning the dilapidated walls of our ground-floor home. The most prominent of them, in our multipurpose living room, were the standing trio of Ram, Lakshman and Sita along with a genuflecting Hanuman, enclosed in a glass chamber with a light fitted inside.

At dusk, like a ritual, before turning on the lights in the other rooms, we would first turn on the light for this photograph. Ash smeared on my forehead, every evening I would pray to the ensemble of gods as my sisters sang the Hanuman Chalisa. The melody and rhythm of every version of this song that I heard later in life seemed off. For peace and for humanity to be free of strife, my grandmother read the Sundara Kandam in Tamil everyday.

My ill-tempered father worked all his life at the Allahabad Bank with a patriotic zeal for nation building and took great pride in his uncompromising integrity. A deeply religious man, he would fondly recount how our forefathers had constructed a Ram temple in our ancestral village in Tamil Nadu.

Congress’ Abhishek Singhvi challenges Rajya Sabha polls loss through draw of lots in High Court

Congress leader Abhishek Singhvi on Saturday moved the Himachal Pradesh High Court challenging the returning officer’s decision to declare the winner of the Rajya Sabha elections in the state in February through a draw of lots, Live Law reported.

On February 28, Singhvi had lost the election to the Upper House to Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Harsh Mahajan. Only one Rajya Sabha seat in the state was up for election.

At that point, the Congress had 40 MLAs in the 68-member Assembly. While the BJP had 25 seats, the remaining three members were independents. The Rajya Sabha election resulted in a tie with both candidates securing 34 votes.

After the tie, the names of Singhvi and Mahajan were written on separate slips and placed into a box, as per Rule 75 of the Conduct of Election Rules, 1961. This was in the presence of the candidates and the polling agents. One slip was randomly drawn from the box.

The slip had Singhvi’s name. Singhvi was then eliminated from the selection process, leading the returning officer to declare Mahajan as the winner. Mahajan was sworn in as a Rajya Sabha MP on April 3.

Singhvi has challenged this decision of the returning officer.

In less than two weeks, Indians will vote in a sprawling seven-phase Lok Sabha election that starts on April 19 and ends on June 1.

While general elections have always been held in summer, this year the Indian Meteorological Department has forecast higher than average temperatures and almost double the number of heatwave days in this period – 10-20 days, as against four-eight days seen every summer.

Political workers campaigning in this heat, voters who attend large political rallies to hear leaders speak, and those who will queue up at polling booths – all risk exposure as they take part in one of the world’s biggest democratic exercises.

Is India prepared for an election in extreme heat conditions?
