इंटरनेट डेस्क। रूस के परमाणु हथियारों का जखीरा बेलारूस पहुंच गया है और इसकों लेकर वहां के राष्ट्रपति ने इसकी पुष्टि भी कर दी है। मीडिया रिपोर्ट की माने तो राष्ट्रपति अलेक्जेंडर लुकाशेंको ने मीडिया से बात करते हुए बताया की हमें मिसाइलें और अन्य परमाणु हथियारों के साथ बम मिले हैं। उन्होंने साथ में यह भी कहा की ये बम 1945 में हिरोशिमा और नागासाकी पर गिराए गए बमों से 3 गुना ज्यादा खतरनाक हैं।

वहीं राष्ट्रपति लुकाशेंको ने बताया कि इन परमाणु हथियारों को रखने के लिए सोवियत संघ के समय की 6 न्यूक्लियर फैसिलिटीज को सही किया गया है। उन्होंने साथ ही कहा पश्चिम के देश 2020 से हमें कई टुकड़ों में तोड़ना चाहते थे। हमेशा से हम उनका टारगेट रहे हैं।

इस मामले में लुकाशेंको ने कहा अगर जरूरत पड़ी तो हम इन हथियारों का उपयोग करने में भी पीछे नहीं रहेंगे। इनके इस्तेमाल की मंजूरी के लिए मुझे सिर्फ पुतिन को फोन करने की जरूरत होगी। हालांकि, रूस ये साफ कर चुका है कि बेशक ये हथियार बेलारूस में हों, लेकिन इन पर कब्जा रूस का ही रहेगा।

Kathmandu Mayor Balendra Shah on Thursday threatened to ban Hindi films in the city unless the makers of Adipurush removed a scene from the film that refers to Sita as the daughter of India.

The movie is based on the Hindu epic Ramayana. There are conflicting claims about the birthplace of Sita, with some versions saying that the goddess was born in Sitamarhi in present-day India, and some saying that she was born in Janakpur in present-day Nepal.

On Thursday, Shah gave a three-day deadine to the makers of Adipurush to remove the dialogue from the film. “Until the line ‘Janaki is a daughter of India’ contained in the South Indian film ‘Adipurush’ is removed not just in Nepal but also in India, no Hindi films will be allowed to run in Kathmandu Metropolitan City,” the mayor wrote on Facebook.

Adipurush is slated to be released on Friday. The movie is directed by Om Raut and stars actors such as Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon.

The Kathmandu mayor’s criticism of the film comes weeks after political leaders in Nepal had objected to a mural interpreted as “Akhand Bharat” or unified India, which is installed in the new Parliament complex in Delhi.

Though these were handled according to law, the situation did improvise as we went along, be it through case laws or through managing the symbols better. The election process itself provided many opportunities, and much of the early improvements were focussed on better implementation of the laws.

इंटरनेट डेस्क। आखिरकार वहीं हुआ जो होना था और होता भी क्यों नहीं मामला भी बृजभूषण शरण सिंह का था। जी हां यौन शोषण का आरोप झेल रहे बृजभूषण शरण सिंह को बड़ी राहत मिली है। उन्हें नाबालिग महिला पहलवान के यौन शोषण मामले में पुलिस ने क्लीन चिट दे दी। मीडिया रिपोर्ट की माने तो गुरुवार को पटियाला हाउस कोर्ट में पुलिस ने इस मामले की क्लोज़र रिपोर्ट पेश कर दी।

जो बृजभूषण शरण के लिए एक बड़ी राहत है। दरअसल, कुछ दिनों पहले नाबालिग महिला पहलवान और उसके पिता ने अपना बयान बदल लिया था। बृजभूषण पर लगाए गए सारे आरोप वापस ले लिए गए थे। ऐसे में पुलिस को तो क्लोज़र रिपोर्ट दाखिल करनी ही थी।

वहीं अन्य महिला पहलवानों के आरोपों वाले मामले में बृजभूषण के खिलाफ चार्जशीट भी पेश कर दी गई है। इस चार्जशीट में कुश्ती संघ के असिस्टेंट सेक्रेटरी विनोद तोमर को भी आरोपी बनाया गया है। दिल्ली पुलिस द्वारा दाखिल किये जाने के बाद पहलवानों ने अगली कार्रवाई को लेकर बातचीत शुरू कर दी लेकिन अभी कुछ भी सामने नहीं आया है। आपको बता दें की पहलवानों ने कहा था कि आंदोलन अस्थायी तौर पर रोका गया है और बृजभूषण की गिरफ्तारी नहीं होने पर वे इसे जारी रखेंगे। ऐसे में आगे क्या होगा अब देखने वाली बात यह होगी।

इंटरनेट डेस्क। गुजरात के तटों से टकराने के बाद अब बिपरजॉय और भी खतरनाक हो गया है। इस समय हवाओं की रफ्तार 125 किलोमीटर है और भारी बारिश हो रही है। बताया जा रहा है की नुकसान का आकलन लगा पाना अभी मुश्किल है। वहीं अब इस तूफान का असर राजस्थान में भी दिखाई देने वाला है। वैसे शाम से ही प्रदेश में मौसम बदल गया है।

मौसम विभाग की माने तो बिपरजॉय तूफान 16 जून को राजस्थान में अपना कहर दिखा सकता है। इसके चलते पूरे राजस्थान में रेड अलर्ट जारी कर दिया गया है। मौसम विभाग के अनुसार आज बाड़मेर, जालौर, जैसलमेर और जोधपुर समेत आसपास के कई क्षेत्रों में भारी बारिश और तूफान की आशंकाएं हैं। वहीं तूफान का असर तो 15 जून से ही राजस्थान के कई हिस्सों में दिखना शुरू हो गया था। वहीं आमजन से अपील की गई है कि वह बहुत ज्यादा जरूरी काम होने पर ही घर से बाहर निकलें।

16 जून से लेकर 18 जून तक राजस्थान में इस तूफान का असर दिखने वाला है। बिपरजॉय तूफान के चलते राजस्थान के दक्षिणी पश्चिमी इलाकों में जलभराव, मकान क्षतिग्रस्त और बिजली के खंभे और पेड़ों के उखड़ने की संभावनाएं हैं। वहीं मौसम विभाग के अनुसार के तूफान के 16 जून को दक्षिणी-पश्चिमी राजस्थान में पहुंचने की संभावना है। 16 जून को बाड़मेर और जालौर में अत्यधिक भारी वर्षा, जैसलमेर, जोधपुर, पाली एवं सिरोही में बहुत भारी वर्षा, बीकानेर, उदयपुर एवं राजसमंद में भारी बारिश की संभावना की जताई गई है।

इंटरनेट डेस्क। चक्रवात बिपरजॉय रात को गुजरात के कच्छ जिले के जखाऊ बंदरगाह से टकरा गया है, जिसके बाद अब ये और भी खतरनाक हो गया। ये तूफान तेज़ी के साथ सौराष्ट्र-कच्छ के इलाकों की तरफ बढ़ रहा है। बताया जा रहा है की कच्छ के मांडवी इलाके में अभी तूफानी हवाएं चल रही हैं। इस समय हवाओं की रफ्तार 125 किमी प्रति घंटा है।

इन तेज हवाओं के कारण सौराष्ट्र औऱ कच्छ के इलाकों में पेड़ और खंभे गिरने लगे है। मौसम विभाग की माने तो तूफान के तटों से टकरा जाने के बाद अब लैंडफॉल का असर दिखेगा। गुजरात के तटीय इलाकों में अभी भारी बारिशर हो रही है। वहीं सरकार ने चक्रवात से होने वाले खतरे को देखते हुए 94 हजार से ज्यादा लोगों को तटीय इलाकों से रेस्क्यू किया है।

अब इसके प्रभाव से उत्तरी गुजरात के पाटन और बनासकांठा में शुक्रवार को तेज बारिश होगी। वही तूफान के कारण अभी पांच लोगों की मौत की खबर सामने आ रही है। साथ ही गुजरात के 940 गांवों में इस समय बिजली नहीं है।

एक्सप्रेसवे और नेशनल हाईवे : इस समय देश में गति क्रांति चल रही है। हर दिन नए राजमार्ग और एक्सप्रेसवे का उद्घाटन या उद्घाटन हो रहा है। इस समय लगभग सभी बड़े शहरों को जोड़ने के लिए दर्जनों एक्सप्रेसवे परियोजनाओं पर काम चल रहा है.

अब नेशनल हाईवे से ज्यादा एक्सप्रेसवे की चर्चा हो रही है। ऐसे में सवाल यह है कि एक्सप्रेसवे और हाईवे में क्या अंतर है। इन दोनों मार्गों की बनावट और उन पर चलने वाले वाहनों की गति में क्या अंतर है। एक रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक इस वक्त देश में 4000 किलोमीटर से ज्यादा लंबे एक्सप्रेसवे हैं। इसके अलावा 10 से ज्यादा एक्सप्रेस-वे प्रोजेक्ट पर काम चल रहा है।

इनमें से सबसे प्रमुख हैं- दिल्ली-मुंबई एक्सप्रेसवे, द्वारका एक्सप्रेसवे, मुंबई-नागपुर एक्सप्रेसवे, गंगा एक्सप्रेसवे, दिल्ली-अमृतसर-कटरा एक्सप्रेसवे, अहमदाबाद-धोलेरा एक्सप्रेसवे, नर्मदा एक्सप्रेसवे और रायपुर-विशाखापत्तनम एक्सप्रेसवे। ये सभी एक्सप्रेसवे अपने निर्माण के अंतिम चरण में हैं। इनसे देश के बड़े शहरों के बीच स्पीड को लेकर एक नई क्रांति आने वाली है।

एक्सप्रेसवे

अब सवाल यह है कि आखिर यह एक्सप्रेसवे नेशनल हाईवे से अलग क्यों है? दरअसल, एक्सप्रेसवे वर्तमान में उच्चतम गुणवत्ता वाली सड़क का पर्याय है। ये विशेष रूप से तैयार की गई सड़कें होती हैं, जो दोनों ओर रेलिंग से घिरी होती हैं। इनकी ऊंचाई राजपथ से भी अधिक होती। ये पूरी तरह से आबादी क्षेत्र से बाहर हैं। एक्सप्रेसवे के किनारे कोई बस्ती नहीं है। इसकी डिजाइन इस तरह की गई है कि इसमें कोई ट्विस्ट नहीं है। वाहन सीधे चलते रहते हैं।

इसमें अलग-अलग जगहों पर वाहनों के लिए एंट्री और एग्जिट पॉइंट बनाए जाते हैं। कुल मिलाकर इन सड़कों को इस तरह से डिजाइन किया गया है कि तेज गति से वाहन चलाने वाले व्यक्ति को किसी तरह की परेशानी का सामना न करना पड़े। राजमार्गों और अन्य सड़कों की तुलना में एक्सप्रेसवे पर वाहनों की गति बहुत अधिक होती है।

आमतौर पर देश में बनने वाले एक्सप्रेस-वे की चौड़ाई छह से आठ लेन की होती है। एक्सप्रेस वे में आपात स्थिति में विमान को उतारने की भी सुविधा है. इन्हें रनवे के तौर पर इस्तेमाल किया जा सकता है। वर्तमान में, देश में सबसे लंबा परिचालन पूर्वांचल एक्सप्रेसवे है। इसके बाद उत्तर प्रदेश का ही लखनऊ-आगरा एक्सप्रेसवे है। इसकी कुल लंबाई 302 किमी है।

अधिकतम गति पर वाहन अधिक गति से दौड़ते हैं

राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग की तुलना में एक्सप्रेसवे। हालांकि गति सीमा अलग-अलग एक्सप्रेसवे पर अलग-अलग है, लेकिन उनमें से ज्यादातर पर अधिकतम गति सीमा 120 किमी प्रति घंटा है। जबकि हाईवे पर अधिकतम स्पीड 80 से 100 किमी प्रति घंटा है। कई एक्सप्रेस-वे पर दोपहिया और तिपहिया वाहनों के प्रवेश पर रोक लगा दी गई है. मसलन, दिल्ली-मेरठ एक्सप्रेसवे पर मोटरसाइकिल चलाने पर 10,000 रुपये तक का जुर्माना देना पड़ सकता है।

दुनिया का सबसे लंबा एक्सप्रेसवे!

दुनिया का सबसे लंबा एक्सप्रेसवे भी देश में ही बन रहा है। यह दिल्ली-मुंबई एक्सप्रेसवे पर है। इसकी कुल लंबाई लगभग 1300 किमी है। फिर दिल्ली-अमृतसर-कटरा के बीच 633 किमी लंबा एक्सप्रेसवे बनाया जा रहा है। ये दोनों एक्सप्रेसवे जल्द ही बनकर तैयार होने वाले हैं।

वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस: भारतीय रेलवे द्वारा 26 जून से पांच नए रूट की वंदे भारत ट्रेनें शुरू की जाएंगी। बालासोर में ट्रेन हादसे के बाद कोई नया वंदे भारत शुरू नहीं किया गया है,

अब पीएम मोदी की वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग से सेमी-हाई-स्पीड ट्रेनों के शुरू होने की उम्मीद जताई जा रही है. यह पहली बार है जब एक ही दिन में पांच सेमी हाई स्पीड ट्रेनों को हरी झंडी दिखाई जाएगी। इसके साथ ही जून के अंत तक देश में कुल 23 ट्रेनों का परिचालन शुरू हो जाएगा। आइए जानते हैं इन ट्रेनों के रूट से जुड़ी अहम जानकारियां।

मुंबई-गोवा वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस

बालासोर ट्रेन हादसे के बाद मुंबई-गोवा वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस को हरी झंडी दिखाने का कार्यक्रम रद्द कर दिया गया था. कनेक्टिविटी में सुधार को देखते हुए अभी ट्रेन शुरू की जाएगी। ट्रेन यात्रा के दौरान दादर, ठाणे, पनवेल, रोहा, खेड़, रत्नागिरी, कंकावली, थिविम और मडगांव में रुकेगी।

बेंगलुरु-हुबली-धारवाड़ वंदे भारत

बेंगलुरु, हुबली और धारवाड़ को जोड़ने वाले वंदे भारत के साथ कर्नाटक में दो सेमी हाई स्पीड ट्रेनों का संचालन शुरू हो जाएगा। ट्रेन का संचालन दक्षिण पश्चिम रेलवे में किया जाएगा। इसके यशवंतपुर, दावणगेरे और हुबली स्टेशनों पर रुकने की उम्मीद है। इसके अलावा, ट्रेन से हुबली और धारवाड़ के बीच यात्रा का समय 7 घंटे से घटकर लगभग 5 घंटे होने की उम्मीद है।

पटना-रांची वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस

पटना और रांची को जोड़ने वाली ट्रेन के रूप में बिहार को अपनी पहली वंदे भारत ट्रेन मिलेगी। ट्रेन के गया, कोडरमा, हजारीबाग रोड, पारसनाथ और बोकारो स्टील सिटी में रुकने की उम्मीद है। यह ट्रेन करीब 410 किमी की दूरी तय करेगी।

भोपाल-इंदौर वंदे भारत

भोपाल-इंदौर वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस ट्रेन एमपी और भोपाल से चलने वाली दूसरी ट्रेन होगी। इस ट्रेन से राज्य के कई शहरों को जोड़ने की उम्मीद है। हालांकि अभी तक ट्रेन के स्टॉपेज को लेकर कोई जानकारी सामने नहीं आई है।

भोपाल-जबलपुर वंदे भारत

भोपाल-जबलपुर वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस एमपी के लिए तीसरी सेमी हाई स्पीड ट्रेन होगी। इसके साथ ही भोपाल के रानी कमलापति रेलवे स्टेशन से चलने वाली यह तीसरी ट्रेन भी होगी।

चक्रवात बिपारजॉय तेजी से बढ़ रहा है। इसके आज गुजरात के तटीय इलाकों से टकराने की पूरी संभावना है। इसकी रफ्तार पहले 115-125 किमी प्रति घंटा थी, जो अब बढ़कर 140 हो गई है।

वहीं, IMD ने कहा कि अगले पांच दिनों तक देश के कई इलाकों में भारी बारिश की संभावना है. मेघालय में 15 और 16 जून को बारिश हो सकती है। इसके अलावा पश्चिम बंगाल और सिक्किम के साथ-साथ अंडमान निकोबार द्वीप समूह में भी अगले चार दिनों तक भारी बारिश हो सकती है। मौसम विभाग ने अपनी ताजा रिपोर्ट में कहा है कि 15 जून को हिमाचल प्रदेश और उत्तराखंड में ओलावृष्टि की प्रबल संभावना है। इससे तापमान में गिरावट दर्ज की जाएगी।

मौसम विभाग के पूर्वानुमान में 16 और 17 जून को राजस्थान के कुछ इलाकों में रुक-रुक कर बारिश होने की संभावना है. इसके अलावा देश के बाकी हिस्सों में मौसम में कोई खास बदलाव की बात नहीं कही जा रही है.

अगले पांच दिनों तक बिहार, उत्तर प्रदेश, ओडिशा, झारखंड, छत्तीसगढ़, आंध्र प्रदेश में लू की स्थिति बनी रहेगी। मौसम विभाग ने कहा है कि अगले पांच दिनों तक गुजरात में तूफान की वजह से तापमान में 5-6 डिग्री की कमी दर्ज की जा सकती है. वहीं, उत्तर-पश्चिम भारत को छोड़कर उत्तर प्रदेश में पारा 2-4 डिग्री तक गिरेगा।

In Kashmir, a flag-bearer of democracy struggles to take oath as an elected leader

For a large part of his political life, Waheed Ur Rehman Parra was a poster boy of democracy in Jammu and Kashmir, a young leader who stood up for the idea of India in the strife-torn state.

Even after the scrapping of Article 370 in August 2019, which cancelled Kashmir’s statehood and special status, and which was followed by mass incarceration of its mainstream political leaders, Parra did not give up on the electoral process.

In the elections to the District Development Council – the first direct polls held in Jammu and Kashmir after it was split and turned into a Union territory – Parra contested from jail, and won.

But for nearly two-and-a-half years now, the 34-year-old leader from the volatile South Kashmir district of Pulwama has been denied what most elected representatives in the country take for granted – the chance to take an oath and serve their constituency.

“From courts to the Election Commission of India, I have approached every possible forum to take oath,” said Parra. “Since the Jammu and Kashmir’s constitution no longer exists, I participated in an election under the Indian constitution and I want to take oath under it. Wrestling is not my thing. I can’t claim I notice when wrestlers win medals. Yet, when a group of women wrestlers went public with complaints of sexual harassment and worse, I did notice. Sexual harassment and violence is a fact most women in India live with. Sexual harassment and abuse by coaches and sports administrators has a long history across the world.

For competing athletes to speak out, and to name names, is an act of enormous courage. Even more so when the powerful Wrestling Federation of India president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, who is accused of sexual harassment, struts around maligning them.

Although Singh, a powerful Bharatiya Janata Party MP, had also been accused of abusing a minor, he was not arrested as mandated by law, but called for amending the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, with the support of a powerful group of seers.

When the chargesheet was finally filed against Singh on Thursday, the Pocso charges had been dropped. The provisions under which Singh was charged were all bailable.

Really, we should envy spiders. Imagine being able to make silk like they do, flinging it around to get from place to place, always having a strong-as-steel safety line or spinning a comfy hammock whenever they need a rest.

The fascinating properties of spider silk make it no wonder that scientists have been trying to unravel its secrets for decades.

If we could understand and recreate the spinning process, we could produce artificial spider silk for a range of medical applications. For example, artificial silk can help regenerate the nerves that connect our brain and limbs, and can shuttle drug molecules directly into the cells where they are needed.

Spider silk is made of proteins called spidroins, which the spider stores in a silk gland in its abdomen. There are several types of spidroin for spinning different sorts of silk. Spiders store them as a liquid that resembles oil droplets.

But one of the questions that has eluded scientists so far is how spiders turn these liquid droplets into silk. We decided to investigate why the spidroins form droplets, to get us closer to replicating a spider’s spinning process.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has deferred the last date to submit online applications for the ICAR AIEEA (PG) & AICE-JRF/ SRF (Ph.D)-2023. Eligible candidates can now apply for the ICAR PG entrance exams at the official website icar.nta.nic.in till 5.00 PM June 23. The correction window will be open from June 25 to 27, 2023.

NTA will conduct the ICAR AIEEA (PG) and AICE JRF/SRF (Ph.D) in July. The exams will be conducted for admission to the Post Graduate and Doctoral Degree Programmes of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) for the academic session 2023-24.

It has been decided to extend the last date for submission of online application form for the ICAR Entrance Examinations-2023 [AIEEA(PG) and AICE JRF/SRF(Ph.D)], enabling the aspiring candidate(s) to apply for the said exam, reads the notification.

54 of 127 internet shutdowns in last three years were to curb protests, says report

At least 54 out of the 127 internet shutdowns reported between 2020 and 2022 in India were in response to protests, a report published by the Human Rights Watch and Internet Freedom Foundation has said.

The internet was banned to prevent cheating in examinations in 37 instances, to prevent communal violence in 18 cases and to address other law and order concerns in 18 cases, said the report released on Wednesday.

“This number does not include internet shutdowns in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir where the authorities continued to shut down the internet more than any other place in the country,” it added.

In 2022, international digital rights group Access Now had said India recorded the highest number of internet shutdowns in the world in 2021 for the fourth year in a row. Out of the 182 internet shutdowns globally in 2021, India alone accounted for 106, the report had said. Of these, 85 were reported in Jammu and Kashmir as part of “counterterrorism measures” by the government.

When we asked for suggestions to write for the next Shuttle Zone column, one specific topic caught my eye. It was from senior journalist Abhijeet Kulkarni. Congress to repeal anti-conversion law passed by BJP in Karnataka

The Congress government in Karnataka on Thursday decided to repeal the anti-conversion law passed during the previous Bharatiya Janata Party regime, NDTV reported.

It also approved the revision of Kannada and Social Science textbooks by removing the chapters on Rashtriya Swamsevakh Sangh founder KB Hedgewar and Hindutva ideologue VD Savarkar, among others, according to PTI.

The decisions were taken during a Cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.

The anti-conversion law was first introduced through an ordinance in May last year. It was passed by the erstwhile Basavraj Bommai government in the state Assembly in September.

The Karnataka Protection of Right to Freedom of Religion Act prohibited “conversion from one religion to another by misrepresentation, force, fraud, undue influence, coercion, allurement or marriage”. Under the law, a person who engages in “forced conversion” would be punished with three to five years imprisonment. Forced conversions of members from Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe communities would lead to a jail term of three to 10 years and a fine of Rs 50,000.

Law Commission seeks views of citizens, religious groups on Uniform Civil Code

The Law Commission on Wednesday sought the views of citizens and recognised religious organisations on the question of whether a Uniform Civil Code should be implemented.

A Uniform Civil Code involves having a common set of laws governing marriage, divorce, succession and adoption for all Indians, instead of allowing different personal laws for people of different faiths. The aim of such uniformity is meant to ensure equality and justice for women in particular, who are often denied their rights in marriage, divorce and inheritance under patriarchal personal laws.

The 22nd Law Commission on Wednesday urged the public at large and religious organisations to submit their views on the subject within 30 days.

It noted that the 21st Law Commission had released a consultation paper on August 31, 2018, on the question of a Uniform Civil Code.

“Since more than three years have been lapsed from the date of issuance of the said consultation paper, bearing in mind the relevance and importance of the subject and also the various court orders on the subject, the 22nd Law Commission of India considered it expedient to deliberate afresh over the subject,” the panel said.

Why the wrestlers’ testimonies carry legal weight

“Any photos?”

“No,” the woman said quietly.

“Any video?”

“No,” she replied, then added, “Do you think somebody after rape makes a video?”

This is how the Associated Press in October last year reported on an exchange in court between Alan Jackson, the lawyer for former film producer Harvey Weinstein, and the woman – identified as “Jane Doe 1” – who accused Weinstein of raping her at a hotel room in Los Angeles in 2013.

Jackson, in his closing arguments defending Weinstein during a trial in Los Angeles, said that the prosecution’s case could be summed up as “take my word for it”.

A similar question has surfaced during the investigation into sexual harassment allegations by India’s top wrestlers against Wrestling Federation of India President Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh.

On June 11, The Indian Express reported that the Delhi Police had asked the wrestlers to submit any photographic, video and audio evidence available with them. This prompted criticism that the police were placing the burden of proof on the wrestlers.

The police, however, clarified that they were “trying to collect the smallest evidence available in the possession of the accused as well as the victims.”
