इंटरनेट डेस्क। देश के प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी अलग अलग राज्यों को अब तक वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस ट्रेन की सौगात दे चुके है। इन राज्यों के बाद आज पूर्वोत्तर राज्य असम को भी पहली वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस मिल जाएगी। जानकारी के अनुसार प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी पूर्वोत्तर के राज्य आसाम के लिए आज वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस ट्रेन की शुरूआत करेंगे।

जानकारों की माने तो आज वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के माध्यम से प्रधानमंत्री असम के लिए पहली वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस को हरी झंडी दिखाएंगे। उद्घाटन से पहले पीएम मोदी ने कहा कि ट्रेन पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देगी और पूर्वोत्तर में सामाजिक-आर्थिक विकास को समृद्ध करेगी।

बताया जा रहा है की पीएम मोदी ने ट्वीट कर कहा कि 29 मई, दोपहर 12 बजे असम की पहली वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस को हरी झंडी दिखाने को लेकर मुझे खुशी हो रही है। यह अत्याधुनिक ट्रेन गति, आराम और बेहतर कनेक्टिविटी प्रदान करने की हमारी प्रतिबद्धता का प्रतीक है। यह पर्यटन को भी बढ़ावा देगी।

The fate of Mumbai, India’s bustling business capital by the sea, has always been intimately tied to the tides. Early on, British colonists saw strategic advantage in its deep-water harbor, set on India’s western coast and perfectly positioned for trade across the Arabian Sea. So, they took what had been a set of seven swampy islands inhabited by modest fishing communities and embarked on a vast project of dominion over nature. Starting in the late 1700s, a series of embankments were built and land was reclaimed, with – unsurprisingly for the times – little regard for the surrounding ecology. By 1838, Mumbai had become one contiguous peninsula, the foundation for a hub of commerce and industry that endures to this day. Further reclamations continued through the 20th century, culminating with the construction of the business district of Nariman Point in the 1970s.

The pressures of creeping urbanization have hardly relented in the years since: between 1977 and 2017, Mumbai lost nearly two-thirds of its water bodies and vegetation. But while natural buffers against storm surges disappeared within city limits, surrounding Mumbai there remained a vast ecosystem of mangrove swamps and wetlands that have received a degree of protection.

IOBNN Bureau। राजस्थान में मौसम ने अभी तबाही मचाई हुई है। जहां भी और जिस भी जिले से खबर आती है वहां बारिश, ओले और अंधड़ के साथ तबाही की ही चर्चा होती है। इन सबका कारण पश्चिमी विक्षोभ को बताया जा रहा है। राजस्थान के कई हिस्सों में रविवार को भी तूफानी बारिश हुई है।

जोधुपर, नागौर और पाली में तो इस बारिश और तूफान के बाद मानों सब कुछ बिखर गया हो ऐसे हालात हो गए है। वहीं मौसम विभाग का कहना है की ये मौसम आगे भी अभी दो से तीन दिन तक ऐसा ही बना रहेगा। वैसे आज भी मौसम बिगड़ने का पूरा अनुमान है और आज बारिश और तूफान ज्यादा खतरनाक हो सकता है।

वहीं मौसम विभाग की माने तो सोमवार यानी के आज भी 90 किमी की रफ्तार से तूफानी हवाओं और बारिश की आशंका जताई जा रही है। इस दौरान कई स्थानों पर बिजली गिर सकती है। मौसम विभाग की माने तो 29 मई को बन रहे सिस्टम का प्रभाव लगभग पूरे राजस्थान में देखने को मिलेगा। सबसे ज्यादा असर जयपुर, जोधपुर, बीकानेर, अजमेर और कोटा रीजन में देखने को मिलेगा। वहीं 30 मई को जयपुर, उदयपुर, अजमेर, भरतपुर, कोटा संभाग के अधिकांश भागों में 50 से 70 स्पीड से अंधड़ आएंगे। बारिश के साथ बिजली भी गिर सकती है।

It is possibly for the first time in the history of Indian sports that Olympic medal winners are on the streets in protest against poor governance, financial irregularities and alleged sexual exploitation – more specifically in wrestling. Instead of applauding their courage and responsibility, the protesting athletes have faced hostility, defamation and outright condemnation by those in power.

The protest and mobilization against sexual harassment has exposed the deep malaise in the body politic of sports as well as Indian democracy. More than anything else, it has shown how the criminal justice system has been corrupted by years of political manipulation and the law has become a tool of oppression rather than an instrument for justice.

When the wrestlers first sat in protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar in January, they had thought that as the country’s top sporting figures, their voices would be heard, that it would give visibility to the issues that had troubled them for so long.

Already, there is an assumption that the voices of ordinary people, especially women, will not be heard unless backed by some authority.

Vinesh Phogat is the first Indian woman wrestler to win gold medals in both the Commonwealth and Asian Game.

Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh on Sunday said that around 30 people he claimed were militants have been killed by security forces during retaliatory and defensive operations in the state. He, however, did not specify when they were killed.

The chief minister said that the militants were using “sophisticated arms” against civilians. “A few of them have been arrested as well,” he said.

Violence had first broken out in the North Eastern state on May 3 after thousands participated in a protest march organized by the All Tribal Students’ Union of Manipur to oppose the demand of the majority Meitei community to be included in the Scheduled Tribe category.

The protestors included the Kukis, one of the larger tribal communities in Manipur. They have been at odds with the state government, and, in particular, the chief minister who the community claims harbor’s Meitei “majoritarian” sentiments. The clashes have left at least 74 persons dead and over 35,000 displaced.

Fresh violence was also reported in the northeastern state on May 24. Two days later, a mob, largely led by members of the Meitei community, had attacked the home of Union Minister of State for External Affairs and Education RK Ranjan Singh to express their anger against Wednesday’s unrest. “How can a democratic state do this?” That’s what Sudesh Hooda, 50, demanded to know on Sunday as she was thwarted in her efforts to get to Jantar Mantar in the heart of Delhi. She had travelled more than 30 km away from the Najafgarh area to demonstrate her solidarity for the champion wrestlers who had been protesting at the site since April 23 to press for action against Wrestling Federation of India president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh.

Singh, a Bharatiya Janata Party MP from Uttar Pradesh, has been accused of sexual misconduct with at least seven female wrestlers, including a minor. Nestled within the lofty Cardamom Hills, which forms part of the Western Ghats UNESCO World Heritage Site, lies the picturesque town of Munnar in Kerala. Lush green tea gardens carpet the rolling hills of the Western Ghats, a biodiversity hotspot, interspersed by coffee and cardamom plantations. Groves of eucalyptus, black wattle and acacia – trees grown for firewood and timber – are peppered within these plantations.

Patches of shola forests – stunted tropical montane forests which once covered all these hills – lie scattered across the landscape as remnants of the past. Today, forests blanket just over half of Idukki, the district where Munnar is located, and are mostly found inside protected areas, including Eravikulam National Park, Anamudi Shola National Park, and Periyar National Park.

The cloud-kissed hills and verdant valleys of idyllic Munnar beckon many wanderlusts with love for nature. But as tourism booms in the town and around, roads, electric lines and other infrastructure have mushroomed, and forested land is increasingly encroached upon to make way for more resorts and plantations.

While protected areas provide a safe haven to charismatic animals, like the elephants (Elephas maximus indicus) that often wander into tea plantations or the endemic Nilgiri tahrs (Nilgiritragus hylocrius), tiny frogs and toads – often inconspicuous but highly diverse .

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the new Parliament building in Delhi on Sunday morning. The prime minister unveiled a plaque to mark the occasion. Earlier, Hindu rituals were performed to seek blessings for the new building. The prime minister also felicitated some workers involved in the construction of the new building.

More than 20 Opposition parties boycotted the ceremony, saying that Modi’s decision to inaugurate the building instead of the president was “not only a grave insult but a direct assault on our democracy”.

The Opposition also said that the prime minister inaugurating the building undermines the spirit of inclusion since Murmu is also the first Adivasi president of the country. They have also taken exception to holding the inauguration ceremony on the birth anniversary of Hindutva ideologue VD Savarkar.

The boycott by 19 Opposition parties of the inauguration of the new parliament building on Sunday has grabbed media attention. The Opposition’s contention is that the Indian president, as the constitutional head of the country, should inaugurate the new building – not the prime minister. The government has countered this by pointing to instances where additions to the parliament building such as the annexe were inaugurated by Indira Gandhi when she was prime minister.

However, this debate is somewhat pointless. It would be foolhardy to expect Prime Minister Narendra Modi, whose pet project is the new parliament, to let go the opportunity to bask in the limelight and extract maximum mileage from the event.

The Great Indian Political Drama continues as PM Narendra Modi not compromising with opposition. But issue is over debated with continues advertising. And this helped government to keep other issues….. Sorry real issues in dark. All Indian must rethink about Modi Era. It’s very dangerous for Economy & Democracy various experts continue barking about all  political nonsense experiments by BJP. But Indian media now partial, money addicted (from tenders of Government), Corrupted. They are trying to prove theirs illiteracy, extremisms, propaganda & not thinking about current situation & upcoming dangerous future of India.

At a time when the institution of parliament is seriously imperiled, there are perhaps two things that are more important than the politicking over who gets to inaugurate the new building. On a recent family holiday, I eagerly showed my younger sister a copy of Little Dipper Publishing’s latest book, Where Is Mr Thookam. The book about two young girls trying to look for the elusive Mr Thookam (sleep in Tamil) had touched a chord when I had read it. It was as though author Anusha Veluswamy and illustrator Janan Abir had drawn our own summer holidays spent at our maternal grandmother’s house, trying to sleep in the oppressive humidity. From the clothes and earrings the girls wore to the mosquito coil placed under the bed and the elaborate banana plant front door décor – every single detail felt familiar and I desperately wanted to share it with my sister who had had the same experiences as me.

As Narendra Modi prepared to inaugurate India’s controversial new Parliament building on Sunday, India’s cartoonists got busy pointing out the absurdities of the situation.

To some, the decision to omit President Droupadi Murmu, the constitutional head of state, from the ceremony was a major lapse.

The absence of the president from this significant national event has prompted many Opposition parities to boycott the Sunday’s ceremony.

Not everyone has been impressed by the Opposition’s protest.

What has drawn even greater mirth is the Bharatiya Janata Party’s decision to make the installation of a sengol or sceptre a key part of the inauguration ceremony. The party has claimed, with dubious historical sources to back up its contentions, that the sengol had been presented to the country’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru by British Viceroy Louis Mountbatten as a symbol of the transfer to power in 1947. It has been in a museum in Prayagraj since then.

जंगली हाथी का एक वीडियो सोशल मीडिया पर ;वायरल हुआ है, जिसमें उसे इलाके में इधर-उधर भागते देखा जा सकता है। नगर निकाय के अधिकारियों ने लोगों को अपने घरों के भीतर ही रहने को कहा है।

जयपुर। राजस्थान के पूर्वी भाग में कई स्थानों पर भारी वर्षा हुई, जबकि पिछले 24 घंटों में राज्य के अलग-अलग इलाकों में तेज हवाओं के साथ हल्की से मध्यम बारिश दर्ज की गई।आपदा राहत एवं प्रबंधन विभाग के मुताबिक, पिछले दो दिनों में राज्य में बारिश और तूफान से कुल 13 लोगों की मौत हुई है। टोंक में दस और अलवर, जयपुर और बीकानेर में एक-एक मौत दर्ज की गई।

पिछले 24 घंटों में भीलवाड़ा मंडल में 11 सेंटीमीटर, हनुमानगढ़ के रावतसर में छह सेंटीमीटर, सीकर के फतेहपुर और लक्ष्मणगढ़ में व चूरू के तारानगर में पांच-पांच सेंटीमीटर, अलवर के थानागाजी, श्रीगंगानगर के करनपुर, हनुमानगढ़ के नोहर, चूरू के रतनगढ़ व राजगढ़ में चार-चार सेंटीमीटर, झंझनू के सीकर, उदयपुरवटी और चिड़ावा, भीलवाड़ा के बनेरा व अजमेर के टाटगढ़ में तीन-तीन सेंटीमीटर बारिश दर्ज की गई।

साथ ही, इस अवधि के दौरान कई अन्य स्थानों पर एक से तीन सेंटीमीटर के बीच बारिश दर्ज की गई।इस बीच, विभाग ने जून से सितंबर तक मानसून के मौसम में औसतन 96 प्रतिशत वर्षा के साथ दक्षिण-पश्चिम मानसून के सामान्य रहने का अनुमान जताया है।विभाग ने जून में राजस्थान के अधिकांश हिस्सों में अधिकतम और न्यूनतम तापमान सामान्य से अधिक रहने का अनुमान जताया है।

रांची। झारखंड के अलग-अलग हिस्सों में पिछले दो दिनों में आकाशीय बिजली की चपेट में आने से कम से कम 12 लोगों की मौत हो गई। एक अधिकारी ने शनिवार को यह जानकारी दी।

अधिकारी ने बताया कि धनबाद जिले के बरवाअड्डा इलाके में आकाशीय बिजली की चपेट में आने से एक महिला और उसकी बेटी की मौत हो गई, वहीं शुक्रवार को जमशेदपुर के बहरागोरा और गुमला जिले के चिरोडीह में दो लोगों की मौत हो गई।लोहरदगा में भी एक व्यक्ति की मौत होने की सूचना है।

आकाशीय बिजली की चपेट में आने से बृहस्पतिवार को सात लोगों की मौत हो गई थी। चतरा, हजारीबाग, रांची, बोकारो और खूंटी जिलों में एक-एक व्यक्ति की और पलामू के हुसैनाबाद में दो लोगों की मौत हुई थी।राज्य आपदा प्रबंधन विभाग के एक अधिकारी ने कहा कि मारे गए लोगों के परिजनों को मुआवजे के भुगतान के लिए संबंधित जिलों को हताहतों की संख्या का सत्यापन करने के लिए कहा गया है।

झारखंड सरकार आकाशीय बिजली की चपेट में आने से मरने वाले व्यक्ति के परिवार को चार लाख रुपये का मुआवजा देती है।राज्य में पिछले दो दिनों में तेज हवाएं और बारिश होने से राज्य के कई हिस्सों में पेड़ और बिजली के खंभे उखड़ गए।जमशेदपुर में शुक्रवार को सबसे अधिक 79 मिलीमीटर बारिश दर्ज की गई। बोकारो में 52.4 मिलीमीटर और रांची में 5.9 मिलीमीटर बारिश दर्ज की गई।

रांची मौसम विज्ञान केंद्र के प्रभारी अभिषेक आनंद ने कहा कि शनिवार से मौसम में सुधार होने की संभावना है, क्योंकि बारिश कम होने की उम्मीद है। उन्होंने कहा, ;;हालांकि, राज्य के पश्चिमी और मध्य हिस्सों में शनिवार को आकाशीय बिजली गिरने के साथ हल्की से मध्यम बारिश हो सकती है।आनंद ने कहा कि बारिश के कारण ठंडा हुआ मौसम फिर से गर्म हो जाएगा और 28 मई से तापमान बढ़ना शुरू हो जाएगा।

अबु धाबी।अभिनेता अभिषेक बच्चन का मानना है कि भारतीय फिल्मों में सिनेमा के सभी स्वरूपों का मिश्रण होता है और वे भोजन की एक ;;संपूर्ण थाली जैसा अनुभव कराती हैं।

अभिषेक (47) ने कहा कि उन्हें इस बात की खुशी है कि दुनिया भारतीय सिनेमा और भावनाओं के प्रति रूचि दिखा रही है।अभिषेक ने आईफा (अंतरराष्ट्रीय भारतीय फिल्म अकादमी पुरस्कार) रॉक्स पुरस्कार समारोह से इतर एक कार्यक्रम में शुक्रवार रात पीटीआई-भाषा से कहा, ;;हम हमेशा विश्वस्तरीय फिल्मों का निर्माण करते रहे हैं। हम दुनिया की बेहतरीन फिल्में बनाते हैं।

इसे लेकर मैं पक्षपाती हूं, लेकिन मैं भारतीय सिनेमा का सबसे ज्यादा आनंद लेता हूं।उन्होंने कहा, ;;हमारी फिल्में सिनेमा के सभी स्वरूपों का मिश्रण होती हैं। हमारी फिल्में हमारे भोजन की तरह होती हैं, हमारी थाली की तरह, जिसमें हर चीज का थोड़ा-थोड़ा हिस्सा होता है।

;;युवा, ;;गुरु, ;;पा और ;;सरकार जैसी फिल्मों के जरिए अपने अभिनय का लोहा मनवाने वाले अभिषेक ने कहा, ;;हम जो काम कर रहे हैं, वह मुझे पसंद है और मैं बहुत खुश हूं कि दुनिया भारतीय फिल्मों और भारतीय भावनाओं का अनुभव कर रही है। यह बेहद अद्भुत है।यह पूछे जाने पर कि क्या वह पश्चिमी फिल्म उद्योग में अवसरों की तलाश करना चाहेंगे क्योंकि अंतरराष्ट्रीय दर्शक अब भारतीय प्रतिभा को खुले दिल से स्वीकार कर रहे हैं, अभिषेक ने कहा, ;;विभिन्न फिल्म उद्योगों के बीच अब अंतर कम हो रहा है। हम सभी एक विशाल रचनात्मक दुनिया का हिस्सा हैं और इसमें भाषा कोई रुकावट नहीं है।

लखनऊ। राजधानी लखनऊ समेत उत्तर प्रदेश के विभिन्न जिलों में शनिवार दोपहर तेज आंधी-तूफान आने से जनजीवन अस्त-व्यस्त हो गया। कई स्थानों पर पेड़ गिरने और बिजली के खंभे उखड़ने से बिजली आपूर्ति पर बुरा असर पड़ा है।

आंचलिक मौसम केंद्र, लखनऊ की रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक राजधानी लखनऊ और उसके आसपास के जिलों बाराबंकी, उन्नाव, गोंडा, बहराइच, अंबेडकर नगर, अयोध्या, बस्ती, श्रावस्ती और सुल्तानपुर समेत कई जिलों में शनिवार दोपहर अचानक धूल भरी तेज आंधी चली और कुछ स्थानों पर मूसलाधार बारिश भी हुई।

आंधी-तूफान की वजह से प्रभावित जिलों में कई स्थानों पर पेड़ गिर गए और बिजली के खंभे उखड़ गए। इसके अलावा, कुछ जगहों पर टिन की छतें भी उड़ गयीं। इसकी वजह से जनजीवन पर काफी असर पड़ा।लखनऊ में परिवर्तन चौक के पास एक पेड़ उखड़ कर फुटपाथ पर गिर गया।

हालांकि, इस घटना में किसी के हताहत होने की खबर नहीं है। इसके अलावा, डाली बाग क्षेत्र में भी एक पेड़ तेज आंधी-तूफान की वजह से उखड़ गया। कुछ स्थानों पर बिजली के खंभे भी उखड़ने की सूचना है। इसकी वजह से कई स्थानों पर बिजली आपूर्ति बुरी तरह प्रभावित हुई है।राज्य में कई स्थानों पर पिछले दो-तीन दिन से तेज हवा और छिटपुट बारिश का सिलसिला जारी है।

मुंबई। मुंबई पुलिस ने मादक पदार्थ रखने के आरोप में एक व्यक्ति को गिरफ्तार किया और उसके पास से करीब 31 लाख रुपये का मेफेड्रोन बरामद किया। एक अधिकारी ने शनिवार को यह जानकारी दी।अधिकारी ने बताया कि तलाशी अभियान बृहस्पतिवार रात चलाया गया था।

उन्होंने बताया, मुंबई पुलिस की अपराध शाखा की इकाई चार के कर्मियों ने गश्त के दौरान एक संदिग्ध को शहर के सायन इलाके में स्थित एक बस अड्डे के पास संदिग्ध तरीके से घूमते हुए देखा।पुलिस ने जब उसकी तलाशी ली तो उसके पास से 58 ग्राम मादक पदार्थ बरामद हुआ। आरोपी की पहचान रईस हकीम सैय्यद (53) के रूप में हुई है।

अधिकारी ने बताया कि बाद में पुलिस की टीम तस्कर के साथ उसके चुनाभट्टी स्थित घर पर गई, जहां उन्होंने एक नाप-तौल मशीन और पैकिंग सामग्री के साथ 100 ग्राम और मादक पदार्थ बरामद किया।उन्होंने बताया कि आरोपी तस्कर के पास से बरामद मादक पदार्थ की कुल कीमत करीब 31 लाख रुपये है।उन्होंने कहा कि आरोपी को स्वापक औषधि और मनःप्रभावी पदार्थ अधिनियम (एनडीपीएस) के तहत गिरफ्तार किया गया। इस मामले को लेकर और भी लोगों के पकड़े जाने की संभावना है।

नयी दिल्ली। केंद्रीय सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी और संचार मंत्री अश्विनी वैष्णव ने शनिवार को यहां कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के नेतृत्व वाली सरकार की नीतियों और जमीनी स्तर पर उठाये गये कदमों के कारण भारत दो साल में दुनिया की चौथी सबसे बड़ी अर्थव्यवस्था बनने के लिए तैयार है।

उन्होंने कहा कि मोदी सरकार के आने के बाद 2014 से देश में तेजी से सामाजिक और आर्थिक बदलाव आया है।रेल मंत्रालय की भी जिम्मेदारी संभाल रहे वैष्णव ने कहा कि भारत को विश्व स्तर पर एक आकर्षक स्थान के रूप में देखा जा रहा है और दुनिया भारत में अपना भरोसा जता रही है।

उन्होंने कहा कि 2014 में मोदी सरकार के आने के बाद भारत 10वें स्थान से 5वें स्थान पर आ गया और दो साल के भीतर देश दुनिया की चौथी सबसे बड़ी अर्थव्यवस्था होगा।वैष्णव ने कहा, ”छह साल के भीतर भारत दुनिया की तीसरी सबसे बड़ी अर्थव्यवस्था होगा।” वह मोदी सरकार के नौ साल पूरे होने पर आयोजित एक सम्मेलन में बोल रहे थे। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि 2047 तक भारत एक विकसित देश बन जाएगा।

जम्मू। सेना ने शनिवार को जम्मू कश्मीर के पुंछ जिले में नियंत्रण रेखा (एलओसी) के निकट एक अग्रिम गांव में बारूदी सुरंग का पता लगाकर उसे नष्ट कर दिया। अधिकारियों ने यह जानकारी दी।

उन्होंने कहा कि मेंढर सेक्टर के मलिकपुर गांव में गश्त के दौरान सेना के जवानों को बारूदी सुरंग का पता चला।उन्होंने कहा कि इलाके की घेराबंदी की गई और बाद में बम निरोधक दस्ते ने बारूदी सुरंग नष्ट कर दी।
